YouTuber Jon Prosser shows off iPhone Fold amid Apple lawsuit for allegedly leaking iOS 26

YouTuber Jon Prosser has released a new video purportedly displaying Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, even though Apple is currently suing him over past leaks.

So, this guy Mark Prosser – Apple actually sued him a while back for spilling the beans on some future stuff like iOS 26 and their ‘Liquid Glass’ look – dropped a video on Christmas Eve. It showed some seriously impressive 3D renders of what he claims is Apple’s first foldable iPhone! Apparently, we’re not gonna see the real thing until sometime next year, though.

According to Prosser in the video, Apple plans to release its foldable iPhone next fall, at the same time as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

He says the device will have two screens: a 5.5-inch external screen with a front-facing camera, and a larger 7.8-inch folding screen that also has a camera in the upper-left corner.

Prosser claims foldable iPhone specs and design details

The leaked images reveal a dual-camera setup on a slightly raised, pill-shaped platform, reminiscent of the iPhone Air’s design, with the flash positioned on the other side. According to Prosser, the phone will be 9mm thick when folded, meaning each side will be about 4.5mm thin.

These measurements are generally consistent with previous reports about the size of the foldable iPhone. However, they differ from a recent claim that the outer screen would be around 5.25 inches – smaller than the iPhone 13 mini’s display.

Prosser’s images show a foldable device that’s wider than it is high, both when closed and open. Its overall shape and camera placement look a lot like the original Google Pixel Fold.

Some earlier reports suggested Apple might include an under-display camera for its foldable screen, but that feature wasn’t visible in the latest images shared by Prosser.

Okay, so everyone’s been talking about a foldable iPhone for ages, right? I’ve seen rumors floating around for years, and honestly, most of them showed it opening up like Samsung’s Z Flip – you know, flipping closed like a little compact. But this latest leak from Prosser shows something totally different – it looks more like a book that unfolds, which is pretty cool and unexpected!
