Hey there gaming community, it’s BeerBiceps here. I want to take a moment to address something that went down recently. I made some comments on India’s Got Talent that were inappropriate, and as a result, I had a chat with the local law enforcement. I sincerely apologize for any discomfort or offense I may have caused. It was never my intention to cross the line, and I deeply regret my actions. Moving forward, I promise to be more mindful of my words and actions in this gaming and entertainment space we all share. Thanks for your understanding and support.
Starting from 2015, Ranveer Allahbadia has hosted numerous well-known personalities, celebrities, and others on his podcast, which is known as The Ranveer Show.
In this manner, he’s accumulated more than 8 million subscribers on YouTube and millions more across various social media platforms.
His rising fame has resulted in invitations for him to be featured on Indian television programs; however, a remark he made during India’s Got Talent has ignited criticism.
Ranveer Allahbadia apologizes after “inappropriate” comments
While appearing on the program, Allahbadia delivered an overt remark concerning a contestant’s parents, which promptly ignited criticism.
In a social media post, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, disclosed that the Guwahati police have submitted a First Information Report against several YouTubers and influencers, including Ranveer, due to their alleged actions of propagating obscenity and carrying on inappropriate and crude conversations during their show.
“Investigation is currently underway,” he said.
Today, the Guwahati Police has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against several YouTubers and social influencers, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and others. Runveer swiftly expressed remorse for his remark in the video shared on X platform, stating that his comment was not only unsuitable but also lacked humor.
He expressed that his comment was neither appropriate nor humorous, admitting humor isn’t his strong suit. He went on to apologize, stating that he regretted using his platform in such a way, as it wasn’t the image he wanted to project.
I’m not going to explain or defend my actions; I’m only seeking an apology. To be honest, I made a mistake and it wasn’t appropriate. Since our podcast reaches audiences of all ages, I don’t take lightly the responsibility that comes with that and I wouldn’t want to disrespect anyone, especially family.
I took it upon myself to reach out to the creators of the video, asking them to edit out the inappropriate parts. To my loyal fans, I promise to strive for improvement.
I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s got latent. I’m sorry.

The exact outcome for Ranveer and the other mentioned influencers remains unclear at this point, as the First Information Report (FIR) submitted by the police initiates a probe into any potential offenses they might be accused of.
In 2025, I’m not alone among the YouTube community to find myself under investigation by the police. As recently as February 5, 2025, YouTuber Brendan McMartin found himself behind bars after being caught speeding in his Nissan GT-R supercar.
