Currently, this feature is only available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the US, and the UK. The initial reaction to the announcement hasn’t been positive, with many people worried about a potential increase in poor-quality AI-generated content. This move demonstrates the company’s view of YouTube Shorts as a testing ground for artificial intelligence. Following a recent, unpopular attempt to enhance Shorts with AI, YouTube is now adding AI-generated videos, signaling a preference for contributing to the growing amount of AI content on the platform rather than trying to limit it.
