YouTube rallies behind Nate The Lawyer after he undergoes emergency brain surgery

So, everyone’s been really rallying around Nate The Lawyer – that YouTuber – because he just went through some seriously tough brain surgery to get a tumor removed. It’s awesome to see the whole community, both creators and viewers, showing him so much support. I’m really hoping he has a smooth recovery!

YouTuber Nate The Lawyer announced on November 16th that he requires urgent surgery to remove a large tumor in his skull.

Nate says he was with his family when he unexpectedly passed out and needed help from doctors.

He explained that doctors discovered a large mass in his brain. This mass was pressing on his brain, which led to several neurological problems. He struggled with sleep, experienced fainting spells, and had trouble with memory and concentration, often feeling confused.

Nate said the neurologist warned him that if he didn’t address the tumor, it could become dangerous to his life.

Overcome with emotion, the YouTuber expressed his gratitude to his viewers and the platform for the positive impact they’d had on his life. The community responded with an outpouring of support and well wishes for Nate, which he gratefully accepted.

He admitted he was frightened, but found comfort in seeing if people’s prayers could make a difference as he prepared for surgery. He was confident they would, joking that even non-believers turn to faith in desperate situations, and calling his situation an incredibly difficult one.

Here we go. This is my last photo before my haircut. I’m feeling scared, but we’re about to see if prayer can make a difference. I truly believe it will. They say there are no atheists in dangerous situations, and this is definitely one of those times.

On November 20th, Nate finally posted on social media, writing “prayer work!” This update reassured his fans and other creators who had been concerned.

I was so relieved to hear from UncivilLaw, who’s been keeping us updated on Nate’s condition. They said the doctors were able to remove almost all – like 90 to 95 percent – of the mass inside his skull. It’s amazing news and gives me so much hope!

Nate is recovering well and is expected to be released from the hospital tomorrow. He should be back to his usual self soon.

One day later, Nate was up and tweeting again, thanking everyone for checking in.

He announced that 60% of patients survive for five years, then added with gratitude, “This is going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving for all of us.”

Here’s a quick update on how things are going. The five-year survival rate is 60%. We’re working on ‘Mohawk Time’ – meaning we’re moving quickly and efficiently. Thanks to everyone involved, and it looks like we have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!
