‘You, Me & Her’ Releases First Trailer; Romantic Comedy Will Test Fithian Group’s Digital Distribution Marketplace (EXCLUSIVE)

The indie romantic comedy ‘You, Me & Her,’ rated R, will be the inaugural movie to utilize the recently introduced Attend direct distribution platform by The Fithian Group. This film, a production from Two Hands Productions, is set for a nationwide release on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. Additionally, they have debuted their first trailer for the film.

The Fithian Group has introduced an innovative digital and marketing platform called “Attend,” designed to bring filmmakers and producers together directly with theaters, cutting out the need for traditional distributors. This platform aims to make theatrical distribution more accessible and increase the number of movies receiving widespread cinema releases. Notably, this concept has received backing from well-known filmmakers such as Sean Baker, Steven Soderbergh, Damien Chazelle, and Patty Jenkins, who have all endorsed it by signing a statement of support. The Fithian Group was founded in 2023 by executives John Fithian, Patrick Corcoran, and Jackie Brenneman from the National Association of Theatre Owners.

As a cinephile, I’d put it this way: “You, Me & Her” takes me on a journey with Mags and Ash, a married couple who long for something more than their routine of arguments and compromises. On their overdue getaway sans kids, their bickering seems set to ruin the trip – until they cross paths with Angela, a vivacious digital nomad who ignites emotions in Mags she hasn’t felt in years: joy! Angela piques my interest, and the thought of a threesome tantalizes both Ash and Mags. However, as I soon discover, nothing in love is ever straightforward.

The movie is the work of director Dan Levy Dagerman and screenwriter Selina Ringel. In the lead roles are Selina Ringel, Ritesh Rajan, and Sydney Park.

By using Attend, filmmakers can submit information about their films along with promotional content on its system, creating a searchable library that cinema exhibitors can access when selecting movies for programming. This platform also assists in managing the technical aspects of delivering these films to theaters.

Speaking in a statement, Ringel expressed that working closely with theater owners on our film’s marketing and release resembles the movie’s core themes. It feels like we’re discovering the film’s full potential together with those who will share it with viewers.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the unveiling of the “You, Me & Her” trailer marks a substantial stride in materializing The Fithian Group’s online distribution marketplace. With each step, we’re gaining valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by exhibitors, filmmakers, and marketers. We’re eagerly preparing to tackle these issues with our innovative platform, Attend.
