xQc reveals his below average Twitch earnings and it’s still a massive amount in one day

Popular streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel recently shared that even during his most successful period on Twitch, he had some days with surprisingly low earnings – though those amounts still exceeded most people’s annual income.

Content creators have always been divided on whether or not to discuss their earnings. While some openly share how much money they make, others prefer to keep that information private.

Popular YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL briefly stopped accepting donations on Twitch, but has now re-enabled them. He set the donation goal so high that he jokingly suggested no one should actually donate. He also revealed he’s earned $5 million from his streams on Twitch, despite only streaming occasionally.

xQc noticed this and is known for openly discussing his income. He recently shared details of what he considered a typical, though not particularly lucrative, day from his streaming career between 2019 and 2023.

xQc made $50k a day in Twitch prime

He admitted his earnings were lower than usual, describing it as an off day. He then shared a screenshot showing he previously made $45,860 on December 15th as an example.

He earned the most money that day from advertisements, bringing in a little over $33,600. He also made $10,000 from subscriptions, including those through Twitch Prime.

He recalled the period between 2019 and 2023, describing it as a time when streamers were popular for doing long, continuous broadcasts – what he called ‘RP era’ streams. He believes this style is now the norm, or at least a common practice, for many streamers.

Many viewers estimate the streamer earned about $18 million annually at his peak on Twitch, and that doesn’t include money from sponsorships, investments, or direct fan contributions.

His contract with Kick was worth a reported $100 million, too, so he’s not short of cash.
