Xbox 360 fan completes entire $20k game library after 20 years

A video game collector has amassed a complete collection of North American Xbox 360 games, marking the culmination of a twenty-year hobby that began with their first game and console.

A collector recently shared on Reddit that they’ve surpassed the goal of completing an Xbox 360 game collection. Most collectors aim for 1,256 games, and this person now has 1,353 – including various editions and versions of each title.

It all started on Christmas Day in 2006 with an Xbox 360 and the game GUN. For the next two decades, they diligently collected every game they needed, finally completing their collection when their son gave them Pro Evolution Soccer 18 – the last game they were missing.

Playing every game is the next challenge

Now that the game collection is finished, the collector plans to start playing through all the games. They’ve already earned 1,000 Gamerscore by playing about 175 games, and will continue working on the rest of the collection as they have time.

Someone in the discussion roughly calculated that their collection of around 360 games was worth about $15 each on resale markets, totaling approximately $20,000. These games had green and white packaging.

The collector believes F1 2013 is the most valuable game in the collection, currently estimated at around $250. Its rarity, especially in the U.S., drives up its value.

Late in 2025, a demo of the original Halo 2 shown at E3 surfaced online. This early version of the game included content that didn’t make it into the final release by developer Bungie.
