‘WWE Evolve’: WWE and Tubi Launch Wednesday Night Wrestling Program to Highlight New Talent

Looking to the past for the future of wrestling, WWE is unveiling a new weekly wrestling show titled “WWE Evolve.” This exciting new series will debut on Wednesday, March 5th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT, in collaboration with Tubi. The name “Evolve” comes from the former wrestling promotion of the same name, which WWE acquired in 2020 after a five-year partnership.

WWE Evolve” reemerges as a platform dedicated to exhibiting in-ring performances of rising WWE stars, featuring talents from our latest initiative, the WWE ID program – a developmental system designed to smooth the transition for independent wrestlers into the WWE.

WWE is thrilled to collaborate with our outstanding partners at Tubi, allowing us to present our budding stars to the WWE community. Every week, they’ll be seen battling it out in the ring, striving to achieve their lifelong ambition of becoming a WWE Superstar, as stated by WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, Shawn Michaels.

As stated in a press announcement, the show “Evolve” will highlight some of the most dynamic and captivating prospects, handpicked from college sports and independent wrestling, as they work towards establishing their professional wrestling careers and boosting their personas. The program will particularly spotlight talent nurtured at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, alongside performers from the pioneering ID program and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) athletes.

The “Evolve” teaser showcases wrestlers such as Wendy Choo, Brinley Reece, and Kali Armstrong from NXT, in addition to potential WWE stars like Sean Legacy, Brad Baylor, and Jack Cartwheel.

Evolve” will be our fourth weekly WWE show available for streaming, joining “Monday Night Raw” on Netflix, “NXT” every Tuesday on The CW, and “Friday Night SmackDown” on USA.
