The developers have revealed new features like three different factions (called Orders), a system for tracking your progress, and a brand-new location to explore. WWE 2K26 The Island – Everything You Need to Know
WWE 2K26 brings back The Island, now with exciting new features! Since Roman Reigns has left The Island, three different groups, known as Orders or Factions, are now competing for control.
All the Orders and their leaders in WWE 2K26 The Island include:
- Order of Tradition – Cody Rhodes
- Order of Shadows – Rhea Ripley
- Order of Anarchy – CM Punk
Players can experience the main storyline with each Order. However, each Order offers a distinct world with its own perspectives and beliefs. Each of these worlds also includes a special PvP arena to discover.
The Island is adding a new location called The Scrapyard. It’s built where Roman Reigns used to dominate, and now it’s a contested area where the three main factions are battling for control. Players will fight on behalf of their chosen faction against challenging opponents to earn victory and prestige.
The Scrapyard map is designed for exciting, vertical combat. Players will battle on different levels, using high ground to their advantage and creating impressive plays.
MySUPERSTAR Progression Tiers & Improved Builder
The MySUPERSTAR Builder is getting some updates this year! You can now use the Photo Face feature, plus new World Taunts and emotes. These additions give players more ways to show off their personality on The Island.
Additionally, The Island introduces a new Prestige System, which includes four progression tiers:
- Recruit (70-85 OVR)
- Disruptor (75-90 OVR)
- Blueprint (80 – 95 OVR)
- Legendary (85-100 OVR)
Each Prestige level has a limit on how high your player’s overall rating (OVR) can go. A new Recruit might max out at 85 OVR, while a top-tier Legendary Superstar can reach the perfect 100 OVR. Getting a higher OVR unlocks better player abilities, badges, and rewards.
New Towers Mode & Multiplayer Improvements – WWE 2K26 The Island
In 2K26, players can experience Towers, a new mode where you team up with others to complete challenges, earn prizes, and improve your standing with different factions.
Players can select the length of their Tower run – choosing between small, medium, or large. This determines how many stages the run will have. Each stage is created randomly and features a path made up of various types of nodes.

You primarily gain Order Reputation by playing Towers Mode. This reputation unlocks special rewards for your Order. For a greater challenge and rare items related to the current season, be sure to participate in Mega-Challenge Tower Events.
Playing with others is a key part of the game. You can team up with friends or compete against random players, and the whole experience is built around interacting with the community. This year, the developers have made some updates to how multiplayer works.
I’m so hyped about MyTAG! It lets you team up with a friend and battle other duos all over The Island. And guess what? They’ve added some brand new match types too, which I can’t wait to try out!

The update also features Seasonal Ranked Play. You can compete to climb the ranks, which reset at the start of each season, offering a fresh opportunity to reach the top.
Players climb ranks from Bronze 4 to Platinum 1 in various leaderboards, including those for 1v1 and 2v2 player-versus-player battles, Order Reputation, and Championships. The ten players with the highest scores on the Leaderboard are awarded a Championship belt.
