At the time of writing, here is when we can expect each season of WWE 2K26 to start:
- March 6th – Season 1
- April (before WrestleMania 42) – Season 2
- June – Season 3
- July – Season 4
- September – Season 5
- October – Season 6
This covers when each season begins. Now, let’s take a closer look at the new Ringside Pass.
WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Details
As previously announced, WWE 2K26 will include a Ringside Pass, similar to a Battle Pass, with both free and paid reward options. The first season of the Ringside Pass will launch on March 6th, coinciding with the start of Early Access for the game.
The Pass offers a free track with 60 rewards spread across 40 levels. Some levels give you content bundles that you unlock by earning RXP. You get RXP simply by playing the game, and you can earn even more through various activities.
- Winning matches
- Completing challenges
- Completing Milestone rewards
You can collect your rewards right away, or save them until you reach higher levels. If you have the Premium Pass, you’ll receive 60 extra rewards. With the Ringside Pass, you can earn a total of 120 rewards each season. And if you buy the Monday Night War edition of the game, you could potentially earn up to 720 rewards while playing.
Good news! Once a season is over, it doesn’t disappear, so you can still get any rewards you missed from the previous season when a new one starts. Plus, if family members play on the same console, they can all enjoy your Ringside Pass Premium benefits.
WWE Legends that were previously only available to purchase or unlock with in-game currency are now available for free to all players.
Previously, WWE Legends were available in the game’s store and required tokens or a SuperCharger to unlock. Now, they’re included in the free version of Ringside Pass Season 1. If you buy the premium version of the pass, you can skip tiers if you want. Otherwise, you can still earn everything just by playing the game and earning RXP.
What Modes Reward you with RXP?
You can earn RXP (rewards points) by playing various game modes like Play Now, Universe, MyRISE, Showcase, MyGM, MyFACTION, and The Island. Online matches also give you RXP, including those in The Island and MyFACTION. Just keep in mind that custom lobbies don’t award any RXP.
How to unlock new DLC Characters in WWE 2K26
All Ringside Pass Premium versions include downloadable characters (DLC). You’ll get the first one right away, but you need to reach tier 20 to unlock the others. You can also unlock additional Personas by progressing through tiers 21 to 40.
So to simplify it:
- Tier 1 – unlocks 1 character automatically
- Tiers 2-20 – Unlocks the rest of the new characters
- Tiers 21-40 – Unlock new personas
Season 1’s Ringside Pass adds several exciting features to the game, including new playable characters, two different ways to play as each character, two new arenas to compete in, and two new championships to win.
That covers all the current information about when WWE 2K26 will launch and what’s included with the Ringside Pass. We’re especially interested to see what rewards will be available for players who don’t purchase the full pass.
