Fans eager for Wuthering Waves can now watch a new video showing off gameplay from Version 3.0. The video offers a first look at the new Lahai-Roi region, a fast-paced motorbike for exploration, and two new playable characters: Mornye and Lynae. Mornye is a quiet professor from Startorch Academy who studies ways to break the boundaries of space and time, while Lynae is a student known for her speedy driving and creative talents.
The latest update for Wuthering Waves, version 2.8 – “To the City Set in Amber” – arrived on November 20th. It introduces two new playable characters, Chisa and Buling, along with Chisa’s unique weapon, Kumokiri. Players can also explore the new Chronorift Metropolis area, enjoy new story and side quests, and test their skills with the Tactical Hologram challenge, among other additions.
A physical version of Wuthering Waves for PlayStation 5, called the Deluxe Collection, will be available in spring 2026. This special edition includes a metal art display, acrylic standees of the game’s main characters, decorative paper, a collectible postcard, and codes to unlock items within the game.
You can now play Wuthering Waves on Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s available through Windows, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Plus, it works with the Steam Deck, so it should also be playable on the future Steam Machine.
