World’s largest Cadbury Mini Egg weighs as much as an adult cheetah

Cadbury is marking Easter with a special treat: they’ve created the world’s largest Cadbury Mini Egg to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Cadbury is a famous British chocolate maker, and they’re especially known for their Creme Eggs. These creamy chocolate eggs are a favorite treat in the spring, and many families enjoy hiding them as part of Easter egg hunts for children.

Cadbury makes several kinds of Creme Eggs, including versions filled with caramel, traditional cream, and chocolate cream. They also offer ‘Mini Eggs,’ which are small eggs covered in a crunchy candy shell.

For Easter 2026, the company announced they’d made the world’s biggest Cadbury Mini Egg, taking their popular small eggs to a new level.

Nathan Barnett, the General Manager of Cadbury World, explained that the team’s latest creation was inspired by their success in making the world’s largest Creme Egg earlier in 2025.

We received a lot of requests for a Mini Egg-flavored product, so we decided to create a larger-than-usual version this year.

Claire Fielding, a chocolatier at Cadbury World, explained that creating the giant egg was a team effort. She and a colleague spent about two days crafting it, starting with a large Easter egg mold. They then coated the egg in bright pink sugar and filled it completely with liquid chocolate.

This giant Mini Egg weighs an incredible 55 kilograms (121 pounds)—about the same as a full-grown cheetah, according to its creator, Fielding.

Cadbury’s chocolate makers consistently impress, but this year’s Mega Mini Egg is their best creation yet, according to chocolatier Fiona Barnett in a video shared on Instagram.

In 2025, Cadbury created a giant Creme Egg – it was three feet tall and weighed 99 pounds (45 kilograms).

Okay, so this is pretty wild! I just heard that a company making… let’s say adult chocolates had to pull two of their products off the shelves. Apparently, they accidentally put ingredients in that are used in ED drugs like Viagra and Cialis, and it could be seriously dangerous – even life-threatening! Can you believe that?
