Over the past two years since Mintrocket’s Dave the Diver was launched, The Blue Hole has attracted some intriguing guests. As Dave prepares to embark on a jungle adventure in an upcoming expansion, we’ve welcomed Godzilla, Balatro, and the crew from Dredge, among others, to our shores. Another familiar face is set to appear at The Blue Hole soon.
In April, there’s an exciting new addition coming to the management adventure game, landing at the Blue Hole on consoles and computers. This is another instance of collaboration between Dave the Diver and another series, similar to Yakuza/Like a Dragon. So, fans of that series should keep an eye on this sushi restaurant, as it seems there’s a familiar face taking a short vacation!
As a fan myself, I can hardly believe it! Kasuga Ichiban is headed to the Blue Hole for some R&R… but boy, do they have surprises in store! š¤æ [Dive into adventure with Dave The Diver: Ichiban’s Holiday DLC]š², arriving this April! #DAVETHEDIVER

Mintrocket revealed during the February 12th, 2025 PlayStation State of Play event that another DLC expansion for Dave the Diver’s underwater escapades will be released this year. This upcoming DLC, titled “In the Jungle,” is scheduled to launch towards the end of 2025 and will take Dave and his friends on a steamy new adventure. Before diving into the tropical jungle, though, Kasuga Ichiban from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series will be visiting the Blue Hole for some delicious sushi and a well-deserved break.
During Ichiban’s planned leisure time, the bartender from Survive Bar will join him on this holiday excursion. The events of their vacation are set to be depicted in the Ichibanās Holiday DLC for Dave the Diver, as per the announcement trailer. It appears that Ichiban has chosen to unwind at the Blue Hole, but instead encounters a dolphin-poaching operation, leading him and Dave into immediate action.
Players can look forward to an amazing sushi experience, lots of karaoke sessions, some traditional “fight-them-up stealth missions,” and even more action-packed battles in the cross-over DLC called Dave the Diver: Ichiban’s Vacation. Although a specific launch date is yet to be announced, this DLC will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam starting in April.
