Woman’s “RIP TikTok” tattoo goes viral as app unbanned moments after getting inked

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but share this amusing twist of events: When the tattoo artist decided to etch “RIP TikTok” onto his wife’s skin, little did he know that fate had other plans. In a bizarre turn of events caught on camera and quickly spreading viral, as soon as he completed the tattoo, it all went south for him!

In January, the situation regarding the temporary ban of TikTok due to ownership issues with its parent company, ByteDance, took an unexpected twist. Specifically, the app experienced a brief outage because ByteDance failed to complete the sale of its U.S. operations before the deadline.

In summary, TikTok was temporarily taken down from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and it became unavailable for US users.

Currently, Arizona-based tattoo artist Travis Meisenzahl (also recognized as Jucebox) chose to commemorate his loss by tattooing his spouse. However, unfortunately, their choice of timing was less than ideal.

On Instagram, Jucebox published a video showcasing the tattoo design he gave to his wife, which included a tombstone bearing the TikTok symbol and the dates “2016-2025.

Instead, he subsequently displayed his phone, unveiling a “welcome back” message from the app – as promised by President Donald Trump in his plans for its restoration.

Without a doubt, just after taking office, he put pen to paper on an executive order that temporarily halted the implementation of the TikTok ban for 75 days.

Regardless of the inconvenient situation, Jucebox and his spouse found it hard not to chuckle over the entire incident, expressing in an Instagram post, “Are you seriously pulling my leg?

“Being in the tattoo industry we like to do silly things,” he told the New York Post.

Regardless of TikTok’s future, there’s a possibility that the tattoo might remain pertinent if ByteDance fails to collaborate, which could potentially present an unusual turn of events.

millionaire investors like Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary and internet star MrBeast have shown an interest in buying the popular app TikTok, with MrBeast stating he’s “serious” about the acquisition. However, as of now, no final decisions regarding this matter have been made.
