Clear River Games, Gravity, and City Connection have released WiZmans World Re;Try on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game costs $24.99, but is currently 10% off until March 4th.
WiZmans World Re;Try is an updated version of WiZmans World, a game originally created for the Nintendo DS in 2010. The original game was only released in Japan, but this new version was released there in 2024 with plans to translate it into English. Now, with today’s release, English-speaking players can experience the game for the very first time.

Clear River Games and City Connection have released a remastered version of the classic JRPG WiZman’s World, now called WiZmans World Re;Try. The game is available today for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
WiZmans World Re;Try was first released in Japan for the Nintendo DS in 2010. Now, players around the world can experience the story of the wizard Claus in a beautifully updated, high-definition version. This dark and strategic JRPG features improved 2D pixel art and modern gameplay enhancements, blending a classic retro feel with a fresh experience.
In the secluded city of Wizarest, which has been shrouded in mystery for a hundred years and is surrounded by dangerous, ever-changing dungeons, players take on the role of a young wizard named Claus. When his mentor, Giselle, vanishes, Claus and his three homunculus companions must investigate the dungeons and uncover the secrets of the lost city.
While exploring the dungeons, you’ll fight monsters. Defeating them lets your homunculi companions absorb their souls through a process called “Anima Fusion,” which makes your companions stronger, unlocks new abilities, and changes how they look. Your choices and progress in WiZmans World Re;Try will impact your companions, the story, and ultimately, the world’s fate.
