Clear River Games revealed that WiZmans World Re;Try will be available in Western regions on February 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
WiZmans World Re;Try is an updated version of WiZmans World, a game originally created for the Nintendo DS in 2010 by Jaleco Entertainment. The original game was only available in Japan, but this remastered version was first released there in 2024, and plans to translate it into other languages were announced at that time.

I’m so excited! Clear River Games and City Connection just announced they’re bringing back WiZman’s World! It’s a remastered version called WiZmans World Re;Try, and it’s getting an HD makeover. As a huge fan of classic JRPGs, I can’t wait to play it on PlayStation, Switch, or Steam – they’re saying it’ll be out sometime in early 2026!
Wizarest first launched in Japan in 2010 as a Nintendo DS game, offering a unique blend of dark fantasy and alchemy. Now, it’s been updated with improved graphics and sound for today’s platforms, bringing its world to a wider audience of JRPG and monster girl enthusiasts.
Brave players will begin their adventure as Claus, a young wizard ready to explore dangerous dungeons. For over a century, the city of Wizarest has been isolated from the world, its citizens living without memories and trapped within a network of monster-filled labyrinths. When Claus’s mentor and mother figure, the powerful mage and alchemist Giselle, vanishes while exploring the dungeons, he sets out to discover what happened to her.
For generations, people have attempted to escape the dangerous dungeons, but none have succeeded. Now, a century later, it falls to you – along with the three magical companions left by your mentor, Giselle – to venture into the depths. You must uncover the truth behind the town’s forgotten past, your own lost memories, and the source of the world’s decline. Luckily, your homunculus friends can grow stronger by absorbing the essence of defeated monsters through a process called “Anima Fusion,” letting you customize their abilities, stats, and even how they look. Remember, every choice you make will impact your relationships with your companions, shape the story, and ultimately determine the fate of the world, so tread carefully!
