Wingstop is celebrating 4/20 by offering its popular Hot Box again, and this year it comes with a unique tray designed for the occasion.
April 20th, often called 4/20, is a day when people who support marijuana come together to celebrate cannabis and encourage its legalization.
Over time, more and more brands have started acknowledging and participating in 4/20 celebrations, and Wingstop is following suit.
Wingstop is bringing back its popular Hot Box in 2026, and the first 420 customers who order one will receive a special bonus.
Wingstop is giving away 420 rolling trays with Hot Box combo
Wingstop’s new Hot Box launches on April 17th and includes a variety of their popular menu items.
This meal lets you choose between three tenders or eight wings, both covered in our Fiery Nacho seasoning – a bold, spicy, and cheesy dry rub. It’s served with fries, a touch of our homemade ranch, and a sprinkle of herbs. You’ll also get a 20-ounce drink and your favorite dipping sauce.

On April 20th, Wingstop locations in Los Angeles, San Jose, New York City, and Atlanta will be offering free branded flavor trays with every Hot Box purchase.
Only 420 trays will be available – naturally! – and they’ll be distributed to customers who come to the location first, while supplies last. No online orders will be accepted.
Waiting until 4:20 PM might not be ideal, since Wingstop could run out of food by then. However, if you’re craving something tasty, it’s a fun way to mark the occasion.
Businesses have seen success by tapping into the growing popularity of marijuana. For example, a Girl Scout troop in New Jersey recently gained a lot of attention online after selling cookies near a cannabis shop.
A recent study from 2025 revealed that people working in the cannabis industry in the United States report the highest levels of happiness compared to those in other fields.
