The game Crysis continues to inspire game developers today. A new first-person shooter called Ferocious, clearly influenced by Crysis, is launching tomorrow. It’s set on a dangerous island filled with dinosaurs. Unfortunately, it will only be available on PC initially, leaving console players out. This raises the question: will it eventually be released on other platforms?
Ferocious – Console (PS5, Xbox and Switch) Release Explained
Ferocious is a new survival shooting game where you’ll face off against both humans and dinosaurs. The dinosaur element is sure to attract fans of movies like Jurassic Park, as there aren’t many recent games with that theme. Unfortunately, not everyone can play the game just yet.
The game Ferocious is scheduled to launch on December 4th, 2025. At first, it will only be available on PC through Steam. However, the developers haven’t ruled out bringing the game to consoles in the future. This will depend on the game’s success, as OMYOG is a small team and needs to carefully consider its options.
Wow, that would be incredible! Right now, there aren’t any firm plans for it, but we’re definitely not ruling it out. We’re a small team, so we have to be realistic and focus on making the PC version absolutely perfect first. If things go well and we have the resources, we’d love to bring Ferocious to consoles after that! I’m really hoping it happens!
Developers haven’t announced which gaming systems Ferocious might be released on. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are the most likely options, but that’s not guaranteed. There’s also a possibility the game could come to the Nintendo Switch 2.
