Will Poulter & Noah Centineo’s Union County Revealed In First Look Image

After previously appearing together in the war film Warfare – where they played soldiers in opposing platoons – Will Poulter and Noah Centineo are set to star in a new road trip movie called Union County. A first look at the film has just been released.

The two are teaming up again for a new drama called Union County. The story centers on Cody Parsons, a man from Ohio, and his journey through a court-mandated drug recovery program. The film explores the serious issue of addiction, specifically focusing on Cody’s struggles to get better during the peak of the opioid crisis, which deeply affected Ohio starting in the late 1990s.

Collider shared the first image from Union County, featuring stars Luke Poulter and Joseph Centineo. The photo shows Poulter as a passenger, looking distant while staring out the window, with Centineo driving. You can see the full image below.

Poulter has tackled the opioid crisis on screen before. He previously appeared in Hulu’s Dopesick, a limited series about Purdue Pharma and its role in the epidemic. In that show, he played Billy Cutler, a fictional sales rep for Purdue, and portrayed how the company contributed to the rise of opioid addiction in the US.

In Union County, he’s playing a character who is rebuilding his life after struggling with addiction and its consequences. The story focuses on his efforts to move forward after completing a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program. The cast also includes Annette Deao, Elise Kibler, and Emily Meade.

Poulter has a busy year ahead with two upcoming movies. He’ll appear in a film alongside Demi Moore called I Love Boosters, a sci-fi comedy. Meanwhile, Centineo is set to play Ken Masters in the Street Fighter movie, scheduled for release in late 2026.

The film Union County will debut at the Sundance Film Festival in late January 2026. With proven actors Poulter and Centineo in leading roles, the movie promises to be a deeply emotional exploration of the opioid epidemic. It’s shaping up to be a powerful and attention-grabbing drama due to its important and sensitive subject matter.
