If you’ve been watching Pluribus for the last couple of months, there won’t be a new episode on Apple TV this week – here’s the reason.
Pluribus has quickly become a standout TV event. It’s Vince Gilligan’s first series after the acclaimed Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and it’s been a major success for Apple TV, earning excellent reviews and attracting a large audience.
The series features Rhea Seehorn as Carol Sturka, a dissatisfied writer who remains one of the few people unaffected by a virus. This virus transforms nearly everyone else into a single, benevolent, yet strangely unsettling collective consciousness.
The series follows Carol as she tries to fix the world, but faces challenges at every step.
Is there a Pluribus Episode 10?

A new episode of Pluribus won’t be released this week. Season 1 only had nine episodes, so the season has finished.
But that’s not all! When Apple finally got the rights to Pluribus, they didn’t just buy one season. It was for two, and honestly, there’s a good chance we’ll get even more after that, which is amazing as a fan!
While there’s no confirmed release date yet, creator Gilligan shared with Entertainment Weekly that new episodes are in development. He explained that the process takes time, and he wishes they could produce them more quickly.

What happened at the end of Episode 9?

In the season one finale of Pluribus, Carol resolves to assist Manousos in stopping the Joining, and she acquires an atomic bomb to accomplish this.
However, Carol doesn’t immediately accept Manousos. At first, she’s frustrated by his constant suspicion. Then, she becomes furious when he uses a radio signal to cause a worldwide seizure, which forces the Others to leave.
Carol and Zosia become close while traveling the world together. However, their happy time is shattered when Carol discovers the Others are using stem cells from her stored eggs in a plot to control her.
With that, Carol goes home, leaves the bomb outside, and informs Manousos that he was right – they’ve succeeded in saving the world. This brings Season 1 to an end.
