Taylor Sheridan has become a major figure in television since 2018. While he’d previously written acclaimed films like Sicario and Wind River, his biggest success came with the premiere of Yellowstone in 2018. Now, seven years later, Yellowstone has expanded into a whole universe of shows, with even more spin-offs planned.
Taylor Sheridan remains heavily involved with Yellowstone and its related shows, but his influence on television has grown significantly since 2018. From 2021 to 2024, he released a new dramatic series each year, including Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lioness, and Landman. In mid-November, three of these shows will be airing around the same time, offering a packed day of content for his fans.
Three Taylor Sheridan Shows Release New Episodes On November 16

Taylor Sheridan fans have a lot to look forward to this fall, and November 16th will be a particularly big day! The second season of Landman, along with new episodes of Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown, will all premiere on Paramount+ that day.
- Landman season 2, episode 1, “Death and a Sunset”
- Tulsa King season 3, episode 9, “Dead Weight
- Mayor of Kingstown season 4, episode 4, “Sins of Omission”
I’m really excited for Landman to come back, especially after how many people enjoyed the first season with Billy Bob Thornton! While I’ll miss Jon Hamm’s character, I’m thrilled to hear Sam Elliot is joining the cast as Tommy Norris’ father. It’s great to see Taylor Sheridan reuniting with Elliot, since he was fantastic in 1883, and Billy Bob Thornton even made an appearance in that show too! It feels like everything is coming full circle, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I’m really getting into Tulsa King, and it’s hard to believe the next episode is already coming up on November 16th! The latest one was exciting because they introduced Samuel L. Jackson’s character, and I just learned he’ll be the star of a new spinoff called NOLA King – I can’t wait! Plus, good news for fans of Mayor Kingstown – Jeremy Renner’s back with season four, also starting November 16th, and it’ll be running right through late December. Lots of great shows coming up!
Taylor Sheridan’s TV Domination Will Grow In 2026
The world of Taylor Sheridan’s TV shows is getting even bigger, and the Yellowstone franchise will continue to expand in 2026. A new spinoff called Y: Marshals, following Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes) from Yellowstone, will premiere on CBS. Plus, another Yellowstone spinoff, The Madison, is likely to debut next year, and has recently added Kurt Russell to its cast, joining Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, and Matthew Fox.
2026 promises to be another big year for Taylor Sheridan fans, with several shows potentially returning. In addition to previously announced seasons of Landman, Tulsa King, and Mayor of Kingstown, a third season of Lioness is confirmed. NOLA King is also expected to premiere in 2026, and we might finally get a release date for the Yellowstone spinoff focusing on Beth and Rip, titled The Dutton Ranch. Updates are still coming on two other Yellowstone spinoffs as well. It’s clear that Taylor Sheridan has no plans to stop creating anytime soon.
