The rumor gained traction after X user @KnightGambit discovered a Marvel patent filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the word “WOLVERINE”. This news could indicate Marvel is developing another Wolverine film, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the case. It could also point to a new streaming show, a revival of the character’s toy line, or simply a routine copyright renewal – all of which are possibilities.
