If you enjoy true crime and Korean reality TV, you’ll probably like Crime Scene Zero. The fifth season is now available on Netflix, and it stars well-known comedians, actors, and K-pop idols.
Korean reality TV is incredibly skilled at making even basic ideas into thrilling shows. Examples include the scary challenges in *Zombieverse*, the search for romance in *Better Late Than Single*, and the complex mysteries of *The Devil’s Plan*.
Crime Scene is the latest popular show from South Korea where celebrities become part of a fictional murder mystery. They play either suspects or detectives, and solve the case using clues, discussion, and their acting skills to figure out who committed the crime.
The fifth season of the series, now called Crime Scene Zero, recently launched on Netflix. The first four episodes are available now, bringing the show’s familiar style to viewers worldwide and featuring a number of well-known celebrities.
Crime Scene Zero cast & characters
Here’s a list of the celebrities appearing in the Netflix series, Crime Scene Zero, and the characters they play.
Let’s start with some background: The first two episodes center around a fictional game called ‘Murder in the Abandoned Hospital’. In this game, the cast members must solve the mystery of who killed the director of the Yeonjidol Psychiatric Hospital.
In episodes 3 and 4, the team investigates a new fictional case: ‘Murder at the Funeral Hall’. The story begins at the funeral of Jang Breadwinner, the wealthy head of Jang’s Kimchi, but takes a shocking turn when his youngest son is discovered dead inside his coffin. Now, it’s up to the team to figure out who committed the murder.

- Game 2: Daughter Jang, the 38-year-old head of menu development at Jang’s Kimchi, the victim’s older sister, and a suspect
