The first part of Beast Games Season 2 finished with a huge cliffhanger – a million-dollar prize was on the line! We’ll learn who accepted the bribe in Episode 4, but fans think they’ve already found a clue that might reveal the answer.

For the second season of his Prime Video competition show, MrBeast is switching things up. Instead of starting with 1,000 contestants, he’s beginning with 200, divided into two groups: a ‘strong’ team and a ‘smart’ team.

Over the course of Beast Games Season 2, the contestants will compete until only one remains, and that winner will receive a $5 million prize. However, the other competitors won’t leave with nothing.

After the third game, MrBeast reintroduces the ‘Captain Bribe’ challenge. This allows team captains to press a button and win money, but it also means their team will be eliminated from the competition.

Who took the Captain Bribe in Beast Games Season 2?

It’s not confirmed yet, but many fans believe Joseph Torres, the captain of the Pink Team on Beast Games, accepted the $1 million bribe. We’ll find out for sure when Season 2, Episode 4 is released.

If you’re new to the show, Captain Bribe first appeared in Season 1. The game involves five team captains who each face a button. When MrBeast gives the signal, a cash offer pops up on the screen.

As the prize money grows, any player can choose to take it all for themselves at any time. If they do, they stay in the game, but their teammates are out.

For the Obstacle Course in Beast Games Season 2, the existing teams have selected the following players to be their captains:

  • Pink Team – Player 126, JT
  • Yellow Team – Player 99, Hannah
  • Blue Team – Player 831, Jeff
  • White Team – Player 118, Nick
  • Orange Team – Player 162, Tyler

At first, nobody presses the button, and the prize money grows to a full $1 million. Just when time is about to run out, MrBeast reveals that someone did claim the prize! However, the video cuts to black before we find out who it was, so we’ll have to wait until next Wednesday, January 14th, to learn the winner… or will we?

One Reddit user shared their prediction, saying they’re unsure who will be affected by the captain’s bribe and asked others not to reveal any spoilers. They believe Jeff and Tyler won’t take the deal, and Blue and Orange will be safe.

Jeff desperately needs the entire five million dollars to help his son, Lucas, find treatment for his rare condition, creatine transporter deficiency, while Tyler didn’t appear to care much about the money.

I think JT is most likely going to be eliminated, along with the Pink Team, but Hannah/Yellow or Nick/White could also be possibilities.

One observant viewer noticed something in the preview at the end of Episode 1. At the 39:27 mark, during a quick series of clips previewing the next episode, the lighting under someone’s arm appears pink, and the person standing to their left is lit with yellow light.

“Therefore, JT took it. Easy.”

Someone else pointed out that you can easily spot a yellow panel to the person’s left, and that it’s a short arm. There’s only one person with short arms visible, and they’re standing near the yellow panel.

Right now, this is just a guess, and we’ll have a definitive answer next week. However, viewers have done some excellent investigating!
