‘White Lotus’ Season 3 to Premiere in February; HBO Says ‘Euphoria’ Eyeing 2026 Return, ‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Coming Next Summer

As a dedicated fan who has spent countless hours immersed in the captivating worlds of these shows, I can hardly contain my excitement! The upcoming premieres of “White Lotus,” “The Last of Us,” and “Game of Thrones” prequel are like manna from heaven for me. And let’s not forget about the much-anticipated return of “Euphoria” in 2026, which will undoubtedly leave us all breathless once more.

Fans can look forward to returning to the world of “White Lotus” in February, as confirmed by JB Perrette, the global streaming head at Warner Bros. Discovery.

During a technology and media conference organized by Wells Fargo on Tuesday, the executive disclosed several upcoming premieres. These include the second season of “The Last of Us,” scheduled for spring 2025, the summer 2025 launch of the “Game of Thrones” prequel titled “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” and the anticipated debut of “Euphoria’s” third season in 2026.

Furthermore, Perrette mentioned that the upcoming “Harry Potter” TV series from HBO, initially planned for a 2026 release and currently in the casting process for its fresh Harry, Ron, and Hermione characters, will actually debut in 2027. As we move towards 2026 and beyond into 2027, it marks the start of a decade-long journey with the “Harry Potter” series, which we’re incredibly thrilled about. In fact, by the time this series arrives, it may very well be one of the most significant events in our television landscape.

Starting this month, Max, the streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, will intensify efforts against password sharing with initial, subtle reminders. According to Perrette, the president and CEO of global streaming and games at Warner Bros. Discovery, it’s a delicate balance between identifying who is actually sharing their account and those who might be using it while away from home on vacation or business trips. In essence, it’s about finding the right approach in determining the authentic users versus potential violators.
