Which couples end up together in Single’s Inferno Season 5?

The fifth season of Single’s Inferno has finished on Netflix, and we now know which couples chose to be together – including who Choi Mina Sue paired up with.

Netflix’s dating shows haven’t been very successful at creating couples who stay together – most of the pairs don’t last after the cameras stop rolling. However, that doesn’t stop viewers from hoping their favorite contestants find love.

This season of Single’s Inferno has the largest cast ever, leading to more couples and a lot of opportunities for dates in Paradise where contestants can really get to know each other.

As the show Single’s Inferno nears its end, the contestants are about to reveal who they’ve chosen as their final partners. Be warned – this contains spoilers about which couples formed!

Single’s Inferno Season 5 final couples

Kim Min-ji & Song Seung-il

Fans will be happy to hear that Kim Min-ji and Song Seung-il have chosen each other. They’ve been a popular pairing since the beginning, though their connection hasn’t always been smooth. Seung-il explored a connection with Choi Mina Sue, and Min-ji went on a date with Lim Su-been, but ultimately they’ve decided to be together.

Despite the challenges, Seung-il and Min-ji ultimately reconnect. In the finale of Single’s Inferno Season 5, Seung-il shares that he felt most authentic when with Min-ji. The moment they meet, Min-ji tells Seung-il she likes him, which excites the show’s hosts.

Park Hee-sun & Lim Su-been

Fans are also rooting for Park Hee-sun and Lim Su-been, though their relationship hasn’t been easy. Things got complicated when Mina Sue showed interest in Su-been at the beginning. The biggest challenge for them came in Episode 11, when Seung-il revealed that Min-ji and Su-been had shared a bed during their time in Paradise.

Fortunately, they work through their issues and ultimately choose to be together. We learn that Su-been apologized to Hee-sun about sharing the bed, which allowed Hee-sun to forgive her and move forward.

Hee-sun shared that Su-been makes her feel comfortable and able to express herself, describing their connection as turning a difficult situation into something wonderful. Previously, Su-been told Hee-sun that his feelings for her grew stronger as they got closer, and he hopes they can continue seeing each other after this.

Choi Mina Sue & Lee Sung-hun

Choi Mina Sue and Lee Sung-hun immediately connected, likely because they both had experience living in the US and were comfortable speaking English. However, like the other couples from Single’s Inferno Season 5, their relationship has had its ups and downs.

Mina Sue and Sung-hun both had feelings for other people at first, but they ultimately found their way back to each other. Mina Sue feels Sung-hun helped her become her best self, and Sung-hun says Mina Sue is very special to him.

The hosts of Single’s Inferno, having followed the couple’s journey throughout Season 5, are thrilled about their relationship. Dex simply shared, “I’m so happy for them.”

Lee Joo-young & Kim Jae-jin

Lee Joo-young finds herself in a difficult situation: both Youn Hyun-jae and Kim Jae-jin have chosen her as their final pick. Hyun-jae explained that she’s the only person he’s connected with throughout the entire process, and he’s staying true to his feelings.

Throughout Season 5, Joo-young and Jae-jin seemed to connect the most, and Jae-jin admitted she was his best match. He said he felt she truly understood him and found her the most attractive.

Joo-young expressed her gratitude to Hyun-jae, but she ultimately chose Jae-jin. She explained that being with him felt comfortable and effortless, and even admitted it made her heart race more than once.

Kim Go-eun & Woo Sung-min

Joo-young faced a difficult choice, but Kim Go-eun’s is even harder. She’s trying to decide between three potential partners – Shin Hyeon-woo, Woo Sung-min, and Jo I-geon – all of whom are vying for her attention.

Explaining their choices, Sung-min shared he’s interested in continuing to get to know Go-eun after the show ends. I-geon said he followed his heart, feeling a strong connection, and Hyeon-woo confessed she consistently excited him.

Okay, so things got real interesting on Single’s Inferno. Everyone thought I was hitting it off with I-geon, but I actually ended up choosing Sung-min. Even the hosts were surprised! Honestly, my dates with I-geon were fun, but after a while, our conversations just didn’t feel as deep or connecting as the ones I had with Sung-min. It was a tough call, but I had to go with who I felt a stronger connection with.

Sung-min had a way of making Go-eun feel at ease. She explains that he showed his feelings through small, thoughtful gestures and consistently looked after her in quiet, meaningful ways.
