Improving your character’s Constitution in Where Winds Meet isn’t explained well in the game, but it’s important for staying alive and fighting effectively. Low Constitution means you’ll have trouble as enemies get stronger. Luckily, there are a few consistent ways to boost it without a lot of repetitive grinding. Once you know where to look, increasing your Constitution can easily become part of your regular gameplay.
How to Increase the Constitution in Where Winds Meet

Daily Jogging
A simple and dependable way to start is by jogging daily in Qinghe. Find the Well of Heaven Disciples running on the path between Heaven’s Pier and Blissful Retreat. Talk to any of them to accept the challenge. You’ll need to run a certain number of laps and time your chanting perfectly.
Be sure to complete the Slogan Snatch. It’s key to making good progress. Finishing it each day gives you +1 to your Constitution, up to a total of ten points per day. This bonus resets daily, so doing it consistently is the best way to slowly and reliably increase your Constitution.
Clearing Enemy Forts
Red icons on the map show the locations of enemy forts, called Outposts. If you defeat all the enemies inside an Outpost, you’ll gain +5 Constitution the first time you do it.
You can revisit captured forts to collect more resources, but the special bonus from the Constitution only applies the first time you capture each fort. Still, taking over even a handful of forts early in the game can significantly boost your stats.
Sumo Wrestling in Kaifeng
You’ll unlock Sumo Wrestling in Where Winds Meet after you reach the city of Kaifeng. These challenges involve defeating a series of opponents one after another. While winning matches can increase your Constitution stat, it’s generally a slower way to improve it than completing Outposts or simply traveling. However, it’s a helpful skill to have later in the game.
Besides running and capturing forts, you can also slowly improve your Constitution by doing other things. Mini-games like wrestling, fishing, and musical challenges sometimes give you a boost to Constitution, along with other benefits. Simply exploring the world and completing quests will also gradually increase it. These are good ways to make small improvements while you’re already adventuring.
