Where to find Vidlak Bandit’s Map and treasure in Kingdom Come 2

In your pursuit of Mutt during the side quest, Lackey, you might have stumbled upon an interesting artifact – a map, known as The Vidlak Bandit’s Map. This map guides you towards a hidden treasure in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and here’s a guide on how to find both.

You can retrieve Vidlak Bandit’s Map from a group of thieves concealed within the northwestern forest of Tachov, specifically in the Trosky region. Find a spot marked as an Enemy Camp on your map, located amidst the hills between the lake and the road heading north from Tachov.

1. There are at least four bandits concealed within the camp, so make sure to bring all necessary preparations with you.

2. If by chance you’ve discovered Mutt, it would be wise to take him along for the upcoming battle.

3. Eliminate the adversaries and search their fallen bodies for a map. It’s likely to be found on the one wearing the most heavy armor.

Where to find Vidlak Bandit‘s Map treasure

Examine the map you have in your possessions, marveling at the rough sketch made by a bandit indicating where the treasure is hidden.

From the charming handwriting, it appears we’ve deduced that the hidden loot lies beneath a fallen tree near a river branching towards a lake. Fortunately, this spot is quite nearby.

The map indicates that a river lies to the west of the Enemy Camp. To get there, search for a route close to the camp heading towards the northwest. Keep going until you reach an intersection, then take the northern road. Continue on this road until it changes direction and heads south.

Stop and leave the path once you’re close to the river.

Investigate the designated location where the fallen tree, marked as the ‘Hollow tree’ on your map, once stood. Unfortunately, it seems the tree has toppled and is now submerged in the river. Keep an eye out for it so Henry can make a remark about it.

The loot seems to have vanished, but there’s no need for alarm! It appears to have been carried away by the current towards the river. Keep tracing the river’s flow until you come across a location where there are two tiny, lifeless trees enveloped by cattails.

The Washed-up chest managed to float down the river and got stuck in the trees.
