You’re free to explore every inch of the world on foot, and there are hidden secrets waiting to be found, even beneath the surface. How To Start The Echoes In The Shrine Lost Chapter Quest

At the General’s Shrine in Qinghe, you’ll notice a child and a dog searching through some rubble near the entrance. If you jump and strike the rubble, it will reveal a hidden passage leading to a secret tunnel.

Once you enter, you can’t go back, so you’ll need to continue forward and explore the area beneath the temple. It’s mostly peaceful, except for a few Tiger Fort bandits hiding nearby.

How To Beat Zhang Lang And The Tiger Fort Bandits

As you enter the large chamber, you’ll encounter several Tiger Fort bandits led by a man named Zhang Lang. The room is filled with archers and explosive barrels. Use your fire arrows to manage the enemies and take them out quickly in groups.

Zhang Lang is large, but surprisingly quick. He can attack repeatedly, so it’s best to stay far away from him and try to maneuver him into the explosive barrels to inflict major damage. After defeating him, you can collect loot from the defeated bandits and search the room for many treasure chests.

How To Reach The Top Of The General’s Statue

Your primary objective is to locate the treasure hidden beneath the shrine. Start by examining the large stone tablet to the left of the statue – it contains a clue about honoring the general. You’ll also see that the massive statue is facing away from you.

Go to the mats in the center of the room and bow before the general’s statue three times. When you do, the statue will turn to face you. The treasure is hidden behind it in a small box.

Make sure to climb up the statue and interact with it to unlock additional rewards!

After you get the treasure, it’s time to escape the underground. Go up the stairs and through the big doors, then follow the path back into the open world. Once you’re out, you’ll need to visit the more well-known shrine and show your respects to the general.

Doing so will complete the quest, and you’ll get away with plenty of rewards and experience!
