Where are Team Mongolia now? Physical: Asia contestants get special honor

Although Team Mongolia didn’t win first place, they became fan favorites on Physical: Asia, and they’ve accomplished a lot since the show finished.

Similar to the hit show Physical: 100, this new series, Physical: Asia, pits top athletes from eight different Asian countries – including Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Australia, and Turkey – against each other in a competition to determine the strongest national team.

Team Korea took home the win after a thrilling competition against Team Mongolia. If you’re enjoying the show and sad it’s over, there’s good news! More versions of Physical: 100 are being made, starting with an Italian edition.

While waiting for updates, many participants are staying active by creating video blogs and working together, including the six athletes representing Mongolia.

Where are Team Mongolia now?

Team Mongolia has been getting a lot of positive attention recently. They’ve been featured in photoshoots, shared glimpses of their work, and were even recognized by the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, with a national award.

TV5 Mongolia showed a news report about the ceremony on Monday, November 24th, and all six contestants were there.

The President praised the Mongolian team for their successful participation in the Physical: Asia program, noting that their achievement has brought pride to the nation and highlighted the strength, creativity, skill, and teamwork of the Mongolian people to the world.

“On behalf of the people of Mongolia, I express my deep gratitude and warm congratulations.”

The announcement was posted on the show’s subreddit, and one fan commented that this is a major opportunity for the athlete, as public attention often leads to sponsorships. They expressed excitement about what’s next for them.

As a fan, it was amazing to see Mongolia get the recognition they earned – they really made their country proud! Honestly, they absolutely deserved all the praise they were getting!

The team is still receiving widespread praise, with many people considering them champions despite the official results. Their enduring popularity comes from their strong teamwork, modest attitude, and true spirit of sportsmanship.

Their growing popularity has led to several partnerships, most recently with Gobi Cashmere, a Mongolian company known for its high-end cashmere products.

So, I was watching the awards ceremony, and Bayarsaikhan was talking about how tough things got sometimes. He said there were moments where it felt really discouraging, but they kept their love for Mongolia strong. He even said that remembering their nomadic roots – that whole history of moving and adapting – actually gave them the strength to push through. It was pretty inspiring, honestly.

They even shared a video of themselves dancing to Hwasa’s song ‘Good Goodbye,’ and followed it up with a photo and a caption that hinted at a deeper connection – it said something like, “A kiss might be fleeting, but love lasts forever.”

I saw this photo and someone commented that this guy must be watching a lot of K-dramas because his actions were so dramatic! Then someone else replied, saying they thought it was inspired by song lyrics, but even so, they were totally shipping the people in the photo – I mean, they were really hoping they’d get together!
