The latest installment in the Predator series, simply titled Badlands, offered a fresh take by focusing on a Yautja hunter as the protagonist, thanks to director Dan Trachtenberg. The film performed well, grossing $184 million globally, and viewers are eager to watch it again. Many are now wondering when it will be available to stream on Disney Plus.
The story continues far into the future, a time when humans have begun to settle on other planets. Meanwhile, Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) is determined to earn his clan’s respect by hunting a fearsome creature on Genna, the galaxy’s most perilous planet.
While exploring, I was so excited to see Elle Fanning as Thia, a really cool android! It turns out she’s built by Weyland-Yutani – you know, the company from the Alien movies that’s always up to no good. It was a brilliant connection, and she ends up reluctantly joining forces with the main character to navigate this dangerous world. It instantly made the story even more interesting!
A new live-action Alien vs. Predator film seems likely, and the upcoming movie Predator: Badlands is a step in that direction. Viewers can look forward to spotting hints of what’s to come when Predator: Badlands begins streaming on Disney Plus.
When is Predator: Badlands on Disney Plus?

The new Predator film, titled Badlands, will become available on Disney+ on February 12, 2026. Disney has announced that, like many of its big movies, it will first be shown in theaters before coming to the streaming service, with a typical wait time of three to four months between the two releases.
Movies like The Fantastic Four: First Steps, released in July 2025, typically become available on Disney+ a few months later, in November. However, Disney sometimes keeps successful films in theaters longer if they’re still earning a lot of money. A good example of this is Avatar: The Way of Water, which wasn’t added to Disney+ for nearly six months because it continued to perform well in cinemas.
