Now that Thanksgiving is over and Pluribus is back to its regular schedule, here’s when and what you need to know about Episode 7.

Pluribus had a particularly intense week. The latest episode, number six, included disturbing scenes of cannibalism, making it the most unsettling installment so far.

A commercial for Pluribus reportedly caused someone to experience a psychotic episode after it appeared on a Samsung smart refrigerator.

Season 1 is almost over – only a couple of episodes left! Here’s when you can watch episode 7, called ‘The Gap’.

Pluribus Episode 7 release date & time

Pluribus Episode 7 will drop at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Friday, December 12, 2025, on Apple TV. 

This is how the streaming service usually releases its original shows and movies. If you live in a different time zone, you can figure out when it will be available for you. Here are some specific release times to help you plan:

How many episodes are there?

The first season has nine episodes, but the show isn’t stopping there. Apple approved two more seasons right away after winning the rights to produce Pluribus.

The first episode, titled ‘We is Us,’ begins with a groundbreaking discovery by an astronomer that dramatically changes life on Earth. We meet Carol Sturka, a grumpy writer, who is deeply unsettled by this new reality.

The second episode, ‘Pirate Lady,’ introduces Carol to the strangeness of this new world through a surprising encounter. A meeting in Europe brings together a group of people, but not without some conflict.

In the third episode, ‘Grenade,’ the world’s attempts to help Carol only frustrate her. A personal conversation takes an unexpected and explosive turn.

In Episode 4, titled ‘Please, Carol,’ Carol pushes the limits of this unusually truthful environment, which damages her pride. Meanwhile, someone else discovers they aren’t as isolated as they thought.

In episode 5, titled ‘Got Milk,’ Carol intensifies her investigation, even if it means facing things alone. The episode also introduces a new threat, signaled by mysterious howls at night.

In episode 6, titled ‘HPD’, Carol uncovers something shocking and gains new understanding. Meanwhile, Mr. Diabaté enjoys a vibrant life in Las Vegas.

In Episode 7, titled ‘The Gap’, Manousos embarks on a risky journey to find Carol. Meanwhile, back home after her trip to Las Vegas, Carol starts finding inventive ways to express her independence.

What is Pluribus about?

Pluribus is a story about the world’s most unhappy woman who unexpectedly becomes responsible for saving everyone from… well, from being happy.

Rhea Seehorn, known for her role in Better Call Saul, stars as Carol Sturka, a writer who unexpectedly becomes the center of everyone’s attention. Simultaneously, a strange phenomenon occurs: people around the world begin to transform into a calm, agreeable, and universally kind collective.

I’ve been thinking a lot about that story, and it really feels like Vince Gilligan is commenting on what’s happening in the world today. He actually told ScreenRant he was wondering if, in a way, things wouldn’t be so bad, maybe even good – a kind of paradise. But he leaves it totally up to us, the viewers, to decide if that’s true or not, which I think is brilliant.

I’m not going to explain how to interpret this, but I hope it makes people consider that there might be different approaches than the ones currently being used in the United States.

Ultimately, how viewers interpret the show is up to them. As the creator explains, “It’s just a TV show – it’s not meant to solve the world’s problems. But I hope it makes people consider what kind of world they want to live in. We really strived to create an apocalypse story unlike any other.”
