When ‘For All Mankind’ Season 5 Releases on Apple TV & Full Schedule

After a wait of over two years since Season 4, Apple TV+ has announced the release dates for Season 5 of For All Mankind. The show explores an alternate history where the Soviet Union won the space race, creating a continuing competition between the two nations. The last season ended with a glimpse into 2012, showing that Goldilocks had become a thriving mining base known as Kuznestov Station.

The first season of Apple TV+’s For All Mankind released its initial three episodes all at once, but later seasons switched to a weekly release. Season 5 will continue this pattern, giving fans a reason to tune in each week for two months starting this March.

The fifth season of For All Mankind takes place after the daring asteroid heist. The Mars colony, Happy Valley, has become a bustling home for thousands of people and a launching point for even more ambitious space explorations. However, as Earth’s countries try to establish rules and control on Mars, tensions are rising between the colonists and those back on Earth.

Like the previous four seasons, the fifth season of For All Mankind will have 10 episodes. Five returning directors—Sarah Boyd, Meera Menon, Sylvain White, Dan Liu, and Sergio Mimica-Gezzan—will each direct a pair of episodes, starting with Boyd.

‘For All Mankind’s Season 5 Release Schedule, Explained

Apple TV will release its new season the same way it did with seasons 2-4 of For All Mankind. The season will begin on Friday, March 27, 2026, with new episodes coming out weekly. The season will continue with a new episode each Friday until May 29, 2026.
