The first two episodes of The Boys Season 5 will be released simultaneously on Prime Video on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 12am Pacific Time / 3am Eastern Time.

Usually, the first three episodes of The Boys are released at the start of a new season. However, this is the first time the show has premiered with only two episodes. Previous seasons – seasons 2, 3, and 4 – all launched with three episodes, and the very first season was released all at once.
Releasing only two episodes at the start of Season 5 is a smart move, considering it’s the final season. A slower release allows each episode to have a bigger impact and helps maintain subscriptions on Amazon.

As you may recall, he and his… prominent feature, caused trouble for Mother’s Milk in the Season 4 finale, suggesting we haven’t seen the last of him.
The final season of the show focuses on Homelander, who is completely in control and acts on his unpredictable desires. Meanwhile, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are held captive in a place called a ‘Freedom Camp.’
Annie fights desperately against the powerful Supes, but Kimiko has disappeared. When Butcher returns with a virus capable of eliminating all Supes, he unleashes a series of events that will irrevocably alter the world and the lives of everyone in it.
