What happened in Episode 7?

Episode 7 involved strange dreams, a new system for exchanging points, the splitting up of the group in Tokyo, and confusing clues about Higuruma’s location.

Kenjaku seems to be speaking to Sasaki in a dream, informing her that her neighborhood will be the site of a deadly battle. He suggests she can leave before the fighting begins. Sasaki then wakes up and has a vision of Yuji, a classmate from her school’s Occult Research Club.

So, Yuji, Megumi, and Panda explained everything to Hakari and Kiara – what’s been happening with the Culling Game and why we need to stop it. Luckily, Hakari actually agreed to help us out! It’s a huge relief to have him on our side.

A messenger arrives with an update to the rules: Hajime Kashimo’s addition allows players to seek out others with enough points to make a trade, potentially letting them exit the Culling Game.

Hakari and Panda travel to Tokyo Colony No. 2, hoping to find Kashimo and Angel. Meanwhile, Fushiguro and Yuji head to Tokyo Colony No. 1 to search for Higuruma.

The group quickly split up inside the Colony, and Yuji found himself fighting strong sorcerers. He then met a teenager who said they knew Higuruma’s location.

Megumi encounters another woman claiming to know Higuruma’s location, but the information she receives conflicts with what she was previously told.
