The movie Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution connects the storylines of the Shibuya Incident and the Culling Game from the Shonen Jump manga, and it earned over $40 million in theaters.
Now fans of Greg Akutami’s manga can see what happens next, with Episode 3 dropping this week.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 release date & time
The third episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll tomorrow, January 15th, 2026, starting at 9am Pacific Time and 12pm Eastern Time.

What happened in Episodes 1 and 2?
The first two episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 introduced Noritoshi, a powerful sorcerer who initiated the Culling Game. This dangerous competition forces skilled jujutsu sorcerers, many of whom were affected by the Shibuya Incident, to fight each other.
Crunchyroll announced that the latest episodes, titled ‘Execution,’ take place during the crowded Halloween festivities in Shibuya. Suddenly, a mysterious barrier traps everyone inside. As chaos erupts, Satoru Gojo, a remarkably powerful sorcerer, arrives on the scene, only to find that he’s been lured into a trap by enemies who want to capture him.
Yuji Itadori and a group of powerful jujutsu sorcerers, including his classmates, find themselves in the middle of a massive and chaotic battle against curses known as the Shibuya Incident.
After the recent events, ten areas across Japan have become overrun with dangerous curses, all according to a plan by Noritoshi Kamo, a notoriously evil sorcerer. With the start of the deadly Culling Game, Yuta Okkotsu, a powerful sorcerer, is tasked with executing Yuji Itadori, who is believed to have committed serious offenses.
