What time is It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7 out?

The story behind Pennywise just became even more interesting with a surprising new revelation! Here’s when you can watch Episode 7 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’. Be warned: spoilers follow!

Episode 5 concluded with Pennywise terrorizing people in the Derry sewers, but Episode 6 shifted focus to reveal the backstory of Bob Gray (Bill Skarsgard) and his daughter, Mrs. Kersh (Madeleine Stowe), through visually striking flashbacks to 1935, presented in black, white, and red.

Director Andy Muschietti added an interesting layer to the story by revealing that Mrs. Kersh used to be a circus performer with her father, where she performed as a clown named Periwinkle. The show features not one, but two frightening clowns! While Mrs. Kersh doesn’t have magical abilities like Pennywise, she’s still incredibly unsettling – she was the one seen following the children in the graveyard during the third episode.

To make things even more intense, the latest episode ended with a dangerous cliffhanger: a mob of prejudiced townspeople is heading to The Black Spot, planning to lynch Hank Grogan (Stephen Rider). Things are looking grim! Here’s when you can watch Episode 7 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’.

It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7 release date & time

I’m so excited for the next episode of ‘Welcome to Derry’! Episode 7 is dropping on HBO Max this Sunday, December 7th, at 6pm Pacific Time or 9pm Eastern. Can’t wait!

Horror fans outside the US will likely need to stay up late or watch episode 7 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’ first thing in the morning to avoid spoilers, as the season finale approaches and Pennywise becomes increasingly dangerous.

Okay, so as a fan of the IT movies, I know the military isn’t around during any of the events. That means whatever plan they might have to stop Pennywise, the alien clown, is totally not going to happen. It’s just not realistic given what we see in the films!

Here’s what time It: Welcome to Derry Episode 6 airs in other timezones:

  • 10pm Brazil
  • 2am UK
  • 3am Central European Summer Time
  • 4am Eastern European Summer Time
  • 6.30am India
  • 11am Australia
  • 1pm New Zealand

How many episodes are there in It: Welcome to Derry Season 1?

So, Season 1 of It: Welcome to Derry has eight episodes, and even though HBO hasn’t said anything official about a second season yet, the director, Muschietti, has let slip that he knows when Season 2 would be set. I’m really hoping they make it, and it’s good to know he’s already thought about where the story could go!

The show’s second season will be set in 1935. According to an interview with Deadline, the ending of Season 1 provides clues about the overall story arc, which will unfold over two more seasons, told in reverse chronological order.

As a huge fan of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’, I’m bracing myself for Episode 7! We all know the awful history of Derry, and the fact that the townsfolk burned The Black Spot to the ground hints at some seriously disturbing scenes. I’m especially excited (and a little scared!) about the possibility of the show going back to 1935 to show us the story of the Bradley Gang massacre. Apparently, those guys were brutally killed by the townspeople right out in the streets – it’s going to be intense if they cover that!

Before you watch episode 7 of ‘Welcome to Derry’, be sure to check out a Stephen King movie that fans are rediscovering. You’ll also learn which scene from ‘Welcome to Derry’ frightened the author himself the most.
