After a frightening glimpse of Pennywise at the end of Episode 3, fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of Episode 4 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry.’ Be warned: spoilers follow…
In the third installment of the horror series, the children attempt to prove they’re being stalked by a supernatural creature, but their efforts only bring Pennywise nearer.
Okay, so the show finally explained how General Shaw knew about Derry and Pennywise! It was a really unsettling flashback to his childhood – a traveling circus and something bad happening in the woods. Turns out, as an adult stationed at the Derry airbase, he only remembered stories about the creature, but that was enough to make him think the military could actually control It. Pretty wild, right?
The show is expanding on the story from the book in a really interesting way. If you’re eager to see what happens next, here’s when and where you can watch Episode 4 of ‘Welcome to Derry’.

How many episodes are there in It: Welcome to Derry Season 1?

Season 1 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’ has eight episodes. While HBO hasn’t confirmed a second season yet, director Andy Muschietti has a plan for three seasons, ready to go if the show is renewed.
In an interview with Deadline, director Muschietti revealed the show is planned to run for three seasons. He explained that Season 2 will be set in 1935, and that the events of Season 1 foreshadow the reasons for telling the story over the following two seasons, moving backwards in time.
In a recent interview, the director shared that the main goal of the story was to explore both Pennywise and the town of Derry. As TechRadar reported, he wanted to answer questions like ‘What really happened?’ and ‘What caused events like the burning of the black spot or the Bradley Gang massacre?’ – and, of course, reveal Pennywise’s origins.
