What happened in Episode 4?

In Episode 4, titled ‘Seven’, Duncan is released from prison and forced to fight Aerion in a Trial by Seven. However, he struggles to find six knights willing to fight with him.
The latest episode starts with Egg going to see Ser Duncan, who’s in jail. Egg admits he was told to watch Ser Duncan and make sure he didn’t cause trouble in town, but he failed at both tasks.
Baelor called for Dunk and informed him that, on top of being punished for attacking Aerion, Daeron had also accused him of kidnapping Egg.
Aerion demands punishment for Duncan, either his life or at least a hand and foot. Duncan asks for a traditional duel to settle the matter, but instead, he’s challenged to a ‘Trial of Seven,’ where he must gather six other knights to fight with him at dawn.
Sir Duncan attempted to rally other fighters to his side, and quickly gained the support of Steffon, Daeron, Laekar, and three members of the Kingsguard.

He retrieved his shield and armor from Steely Pate and headed to the jousting field. There, Steffon unexpectedly joined Aerion’s side, and Raymun was knighted to fill in for his cousin. This left Dunk with one less opponent.
He passionately asks the crowd who will fight alongside him, questioning if any of Westeros’s great families still possess courage.
Just when things looked hopeless, Baelor rode in and offered to help Ser Duncan, explaining that he was acting as any good knight would by defending those who couldn’t defend themselves.
As the iconic Game of Thrones theme tune kicks in, the 14 warriors prepare for battle.
