Yet, these mechanics can prove challenging to master – from Codices and Distant Land to the process of demolishing buildings. Allow me to elaborate on a lesser-known aspect – Quarter. What is it? What in Quarter is in Civilization 7 (Civ 7)

In simpler terms, a “Quarter” is a basic unit within your town. It’s created when either two buildings from the same era (Age) or two unique buildings, or a building that completely fills a district, are constructed. This construction can be enhanced by different policies and proximities. There are also special Quarters, which offer extra benefits and unique artwork.

Unique Quarters in Civilization 7 (Civ 7)

  1. Acropolis (Greek) – construct Odeon and Partheon in the same District. It gives you +2 Gold for each City-State you are Suzerain of.
  2. Forum (Roman) – construct Bassilica and Temple of Jupiter in the same District. It gives you +1 Culture and Gold for every Unique Tradition in the Government.
  3. Matha (Mauryan) construct Dharamshala and Vihara in the same District. It gives +10% Hapipiness in this Settlement.
  4. Necropolis (Egyptian) – construct Mastaba and Mortuary Temple in the same District. It gives 100 Gold Standard Speed) when any Wonder is completed in this City.
  5. Uwaybil K’uh (Maya) – contruct Jalaw and K’uh Nah. Every time you research a Technology, this Settlement gains Production equal to 15% of its cost.
