Okay, so after being torn between Sonar and Coupe, now Dispatch is giving us another tough choice! Honestly, things could get really unpredictable, and I’m so curious to see what happens in Episode 4. We’ve still got a couple weeks until Episodes 5 and 6 come out, so all I can do is try and guess what’s going to happen next!
Who to pick in Dispatch – Waterboy or Phenomaman
The decision you made in Episode 4 could affect the story in the next couple of chapters, or even much later, towards the game’s ending. There isn’t a simple “right” or “wrong” path; instead, your choices will lead to different outcomes. The people you select – and those you don’t – will impact the story, and some of those who are left out might not be happy about it.
Waterboy is a bit clumsy, but he’s actually a pretty good person with a lot of hidden talent. You get the feeling he could be amazing – maybe even secretly brilliant or incredibly powerful. As Robert Robertson put it, everyone deserves a chance, and Waterboy especially seems like someone who could really benefit from some good training.

Then there’s Phenomaman, an incredibly powerful alien who’s struggling with depression and is easily agitated. That combination is a recipe for potential disaster. He even threatened to destroy Earth once, so it’s best to keep a close eye on him – and bringing him onto the team seems like the perfect way to do that.
The main problem with choosing Phenomaman is if you’re interested in a relationship with Blonde Blazer. He’s still very much in love with her and hasn’t gotten over it. If you try to romance her while he’s nearby, you’ll likely make a powerful and dangerous enemy – his anger is intense enough to be physically harmful.

If your goal is to connect with Invisigal, choosing Phenomaman could be a more effective approach. You might be able to help him realize he deserves to be happy again, even if it’s not with the same person. He seems to value Robert’s guidance and genuinely brightens up after a conversation. Perhaps what he needs most right now is simply a friend.
Unlike Phenomaman, Waterboy isn’t a well-known hero yet. He’s just starting out and really needs someone to guide him and be a friend.
Phenomaman is generally more powerful, but he gets discouraged easily, which can take him out of action for a bit. He does recover quickly, though, needing only a few seconds to bounce back. Waterboy, on the other hand, improves gradually over time. His unique ability, Eager Sponge, gives him a slight advantage by boosting his strongest skill during challenges.
Honestly, who you choose is completely your call, and it’s going to be a while before we can really tell if it pays off or not. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
