The Ninja Gaiden series is famous for its incredibly fast-paced, breathtaking action and the amazing physical abilities of its ninja characters. While these moves are stunning in the game, very few people can replicate them in real life. One exception is Emmanuel “Master” Rodrigues, a professional gamer who can perform at an elite level even under challenging circumstances.
To mark the release of the latest Ninja Gaiden game, Team Ninja and Platinum Games took gameplay to new heights – literally. They played the game on a massive 20-foot screen mounted on a helicopter flying over Miami! It takes incredible skill to play a fast-paced action game under those conditions, and Master did it flawlessly. Check out the amazing feat in the video below.

The recent stunt closely resembles the world of Ninja Gaiden 4, where people in Tokyo have built cities high above a flooded, ruined landscape. The effect was created using cutting-edge sports broadcasting technology, streaming live gameplay from a helicopter onto a large flying screen.
As a huge Ninja Gaiden fan, I was blown away by this stunt – it really captures the incredible precision, skill, and willingness to push boundaries that defines both Yakumo and Ryu Hayabusa in Ninja Gaiden 4. And the best part? You can play it starting October 21st on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, through Xbox Cloud Gaming, and with Xbox Play Anywhere. It’s also available on Steam and PlayStation 5, and if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, it’s included with your membership!
The Deluxe Edition of Ninja Gaiden 4 comes with the upcoming “The Two Masters” gameplay expansion, plus extra character and weapon outfits, and in-game items. If you pre-order either the Standard or Deluxe Edition, you’ll also receive the Dark Dragon Descendent Yakumo skin when the game releases.
Check out some cool behind-the-scenes images from the stunt shoot below.
