However, she didn’t end up on the show, with rumors swirling about scheduling conflicts and disagreements during contract negotiations. Host Alfonso Ribeiro recently revealed that the final decision came down to Hudson and Hilaria Baldwin, who was eliminated last week. Ribeiro shared this information at a dental conference. Baldwin herself reflected on how quickly she signed on to the show, saying she agreed to the contract between landing and collecting her luggage – a truly last-minute decision for everyone involved.
I don’t know if Hudson can dance, but she’d have been amazing on the show. It would have been mostly for the funny videos and fan-made content, rather than her actually winning over the audience – that’s what Andy Richter is there for.
