As a dedicated Warzone player who spends countless hours honing my skills and strategies, it’s disheartening to find myself at a disadvantage due to visibility issues. The current state of the game has made it nearly impossible to spot enemies hiding in dark rooms, which undermines all the time and effort I put into optimizing my loadout and settings.
As a dedicated Warzone gamer, I’ve been struggling lately due to some visibility problems within the game that make it nearly impossible to spot enemies hiding in dimly lit buildings at night. This issue needs some serious attention from the developers.
Contenders strive hard to maximize their potential victories in Warzone. They might assemble an optimal weapon setup or fine-tune their sound and control configurations. At times, even minor adjustments could be decisive factors.
In my opinion, it’s all for naught if you can’t spot the adversary, and that’s precisely what’s been a problem in Urikstan lately. Since the Season 1 Reloaded update was released, enemies have been finding ways to blend into the shadows of dark rooms, making them virtually invisible.
Many Reddit posts have surfaced expressing discontent regarding this problem, where ‘Visible_Safety_578’ has contributed a video showing them being shot by a player who appeared to be invisible, hiding in the dimly lit room’s corner.
The original poster stated, “It’s very difficult to see in dark rooms these days. It seems as though the contrast between light and dark has been reduced.
What is going on with visibility right now?

As I was gaming the other day, I ran into an identical predicament with ‘deblanco17’ – an adversary who managed to stay hidden in a corner, even though they were facing right into the room. At first, I assumed it was because they were using some of the darker Operators and compared them to the notorious Roze skin. However, the responses soon made it clear that this wasn’t just about one particular skin; it seemed like a broader issue.

It appears that one significant factor could be transitioning from outdoors to indoors, where for a short while, the rooms seem dimmer, as if your vision is adapting similarly to real-life situations. However, during this period, visibility becomes significantly reduced.
Apart from the incidents you mentioned, there are other instances where visibility problems have led to complications. For example, a player shared a video of an encounter in the Gulag map, where upon shots being fired, the opponent appeared to merge with the background, making it extremely difficult for the original poster to follow their actions.

At the moment this text is being written, the developers haven’t publicly addressed the problem yet. However, since Season 2 update isn’t anticipated until January 2025 and the team’s vacation is approaching, players are anxiously waiting for a solution to crop up sooner, rather than later.
