At their PAX East presentation, Digital Extremes revealed that the Voruna Prime access will launch on April 8th for all platforms. They also showcased new, detailed cosmetic skins for the Warframes Dante and Baruuk.
During their presentation, Digital Extremes revealed the next Mesa Heirloom cosmetic skin. This follows the recent launch of Warframe on Nintendo Switch 2 and the release of the Shadowgrapher update for all platforms. Warframe is currently available on Switch 2, PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch, iOS, Android, and PC. You can find the Voruna Prime trailer, designs for the Dante and Baruuk deluxe skins, and more information from Digital Extremes below.
Digital Extremes brought its player tour to Boston today, hosting a live presentation at PAX East. They shared updates on both Warframe and Soulframe, and were joined by special guests Nick Apostolides and Rocco Botte. Together, they participated in challenges and, with the audience’s help, began designing a new Deluxe skin for Warframe.
So, the panel wrapped up and we got a really cool look at what’s coming next! Voruna Prime is hitting all platforms on April 8th – you can earn him through gameplay or just grab him instantly from the Market. They also showed off two awesome new deluxe skins for Dante and Baruuk. And Mesa players are going to love the next Heirloom skin! Even though the Soulframe team couldn’t be there in person, we still got a sneak peek at the Duelo Pact and some exciting stuff coming later this year, like a wolf mount! It’s gonna be a busy year!
Community Director Megan Everett shared that connecting with players at events like today’s TennoVIP and interactive panels is a highlight for her. She also expressed pride in the team’s latest Prime trailer, noting they exceeded expectations this year. Everett was thrilled the Soulframe team chose them to reveal new details, and expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic support of both the Warframe and Soulframe communities. She hinted at more exciting content coming later this year.
Major highlights from Digital Extremes’ PAX East Main Theater panel:
Warframe players will gain access to Voruna Prime on April 8th. This new version of the Warframe allows players to move on all fours, making her the first Warframe capable of quadripedal movement – a unique ability compared to the standard Voruna, who moves on two legs.
Hunt down enemies with powerful attacks that inflict debilitating status effects. Call upon Lycath for help, lock onto targets for a devastating long-distance leap, and equip the Perigale Prime rifle, Sarofang Prime axe, and exclusive cosmetic items to show your lunar pride.
Warframe’s upcoming update, briefly shown during a recent presentation, will include new, highly anticipated deluxe skins for Dante and Baruuk. Dante, known for manipulating reality, and Baruuk, the hesitant but powerful warrior, will both receive these stylish cosmetic updates.
Later this year, Warframe’s Mesa will receive a stunning new cosmetic skin as part of the exclusive Heirloom line. This ‘outcast vagabond’ will showcase a unique, gunslinger-inspired style.
