The sequel to Warframe, titled Warframe 2, is currently being developed for the Nintendo Switch, as announced by Creative Director Rebecca Ford and CEO Steve Sinclair at Devshorts 71.
After several months, I attended a pre-TennoCon media preview that included a Q&A session with Rebecca Ford (Warframe Creative Director), Megan Everett (Warframe Community Director & Live Ops), Steve Sinclair (CEO), and others. At the time, they mentioned they were still awaiting developer kits and had a backlog to work through. However, the latest Devshorts 71 video on YouTube now reveals that they have received devkits and are planning to display game footage captured on the Nintendo Switch 2. You can watch this segment starting from the 10:55 mark in the following video:

Steve goes on to say the following:
The Switch Model 2 showcases remarkable performance. Our technical team members are diligently working on it, and they’re genuinely thrilled about the project.
Currently, you can play Warframe on the Nintendo Switch 2 through backwards compatibility. However, no official release date has been given for any potential upgraded update or native version specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Warframe can be played on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and iOS devices. Its arrival on Android will happen through a closed beta testing phase this fall.
