The ‘SNL50 Experience’ is one of several methods NBC is using to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘Saturday Night Live.’ A four-part docuseries, titled ‘SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night,’ produced by director Morgan Neville, will debut on January 16. A documentary special, ‘Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music,’ from Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Oz Rodriguez, is set to premiere on January 27. Lastly, a three-hour primetime special featuring celebrities will be recorded live from Studio 8H on February 16.
