Walden Media Taps Bron’s Juliana Janes as Development and Production Executive VP (EXCLUSIVE)

As a cinephile with decades of experience under my belt, I find it truly exhilarating to witness the continued growth and evolution of the film industry. The recent appointment of Juliana Janes as Executive Vice President of Development and Production at Walden Media is a testament to her unwavering passion for storytelling and her exceptional track record in both television and film.

Walden Media has named Juliana Janes as executive vice president of development and production.

As I step into a new role at the studio responsible for the gripping Apple series “Manhunt: Lincoln’s Assassination” and the highly anticipated Russell Crowe project “Nuremberg”, I’m excited to elevate our content lineup by collaborating closely with writers, directors, and producers. I’ll be working under the guidance of Benjamin Tappan, our esteemed production president. As a movie enthusiast, I can hardly wait to contribute to these captivating stories!

Originally hailing from Bron, Janes held the position of Executive Vice President at a daring label, overseeing film and television productions. During her tenure there, she initiated projects such as “Kin,” “Ten Percent,” and the forthcoming “Americana,” a movie featuring Sydney Sweeney and Paul Walter Hauser in lead roles.

According to Tappan, “Juliana’s extraordinary talent for storytelling and impressive track record in film and television make her an ideal candidate for Walden’s objective of sharing tales that captivate and echo with audiences.” He added, “Her dedication to nurturing creativity perfectly complements our aim to present narratives that provoke thought and uplift viewers.

Before joining Bron, Janes held the position of senior vice president of development and production at Gulfstream Pictures. In this role, she managed all creative elements of the company’s projects in conjunction with Warner Bros. Television. Among her responsibilities were producing the Disney+ film “Secret Society of Second Born Royals” and overseeing the development of a “Green Eggs and Ham” series for Netflix.

Previously, she teamed up with actress Jennifer Garner to establish Vandalia Films, a production company that prioritized empowering stories by women, promoted female screenwriters, and built connections with numerous female-led businesses.

Janes expressed how joining Walden Media is a great chance to add to a well-known brand that cherishes numerous tales of adventure, tenacity, compassion, and bravery. ‘I can’t wait to be part of the gifted Walden team as they search for captivating and significant stories to enlighten and thrill audiences globally,'” said Janes.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m excited to share my thoughts on the latest project that has captured my attention – Walden. In this review, I’d like to highlight the significant contribution made by Jacquelina Rosso, a creative powerhouse who has recently joined our team from Shawn Levy’s esteemed 21 Laps Entertainment. Her involvement promises an intriguing blend of creativity and cinematic storytelling that I eagerly anticipate.
