As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I’m excited to share some intriguing news that surfaced in a recent Daily Mail article about Netflix’s reshuffled schedule for Pride and Prejudice – Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden have welcomed a new addition into their family! While this news might seem like a corporate hiccup, it’s nothing but joyous news for us fans.
On a brighter note, the fifth season of Slow Horses is all set to drop in late September, ready to entertain us all. Unfortunately, Pride and Prejudice will have to manage without its dashing leading man for a while. It seems that they’re using Jack Lowden look-alikes to fill in during the filming, given his unavailability due to family commitments.
Saoirse has been keeping a low profile this year and hasn’t officially announced her pregnancy, but it certainly seems evident from her recent appearances at events and in paparazzi photos. Alas, she was unable to attend the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7 where her new movie Bad Apples premiered, receiving generally positive reviews.
Here’s hoping for a quick recovery and return of Jack Lowden so we can see him back as our beloved Darcy!
In 2018, they crossed paths on the film set of “Mary Queen of Scots,” and in 2024, they exchanged vows. May Lowden and Ronan have a wonderful parental break! I hope those who resemble Lowden filling in for him are unattached. If Ronan’s parenting skills mirror her acting abilities, she’ll be an exceptional parent compared to others.
