In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, one of the vampire clans has a distinctive religious outfit. This outfit unlocks unique conversations and interactions with people throughout Seattle.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, players can now choose the Lasombra Clan for free. Originally planned as downloadable content, the Lasombra offer unique abilities centered around shadow magic – known as Oblivion – without any additional cost.
The Lasombra clan has a unique feature, possibly from when they were a premium option: they can wear a priest’s outfit. This outfit unlocks special dialogue options during gameplay, offering a different way to experience the story. This feature was showcased in a recent trailer on the World of Darkness YouTube channel.
Why Does Clan Lasombra Have A Priest Gimmick?

In the Vampire: The Masquerade role-playing game, the Lasombra clan has strong ties to religious organizations, particularly the Catholic Church. Historically, they were involved with a group called the Sabbat, which twisted Catholic beliefs and practices for its own purposes.
We don’t yet know how significant the priest storyline will be. It’s possible characters will mostly just react with amusement to encountering a priest. However, since this is a Vampire: The Masquerade game, players will likely meet someone with the ‘True Faith’ ability, which could create some interesting conversations.
So, what are the strengths of Clan Lasombra? They wield the power of shadows through a discipline called Oblivion. This allows them to teleport, frighten people, or even slip into the darkness to eliminate opponents discreetly.
It would be great if each of the vampire Clans in the game had their own special abilities or themes. Like the Toreador—another Clan from a previous expansion—they could have unique outfits that draw attention, fitting their reputation as the most fashionable vampires.
